Genuine Leather: High-quality pads, such as those from Twins Special or Fairtex, often use genuine leather for the outer shell. Leather is known for its durability, resistance to wear and tear, and its ability to withstand intense strikes.

Synthetic Leather: More affordable options use synthetic leather (like Venum or RDX), which is also durable but generally less expensive than genuine leather.

Neoprene and Mesh: Some pads incorporate neoprene or mesh linings inside to provide extra comfort and breathability, preventing overheating during training.
